Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rwanda Digital Exchange platform operated by RDX LTD ("RDX", "we"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of a jurisdiction where cryptocurrency trading is not prohibited. By using RDX, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your password and 2FA codes. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access. RDX is not liable for losses resulting from compromised credentials that were not reported promptly.

3. Services

RDX provides a platform for: depositing and withdrawing Rwandan Francs (RWF) via mobile money; depositing and withdrawing supported cryptocurrencies; swapping between supported currency pairs at live market rates. We act as an intermediary platform, not as a financial advisor.

4. Fees

Fees are disclosed on our Fees page and within transaction previews before confirmation. We reserve the right to modify fees with 14 days advance notice. Network fees for blockchain transactions are determined by the respective networks, not by RDX.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users may not: use RDX for money laundering, terrorism financing, or any illegal activity; create multiple accounts; provide false identity information; attempt to manipulate exchange rates; reverse-engineer or attack the platform; use automated bots without authorization.

6. Transaction Finality

Cryptocurrency transactions on the blockchain are irreversible once confirmed. RDX cannot reverse, cancel, or refund completed blockchain transactions. Mobile money transactions are subject to the refund terms of the respective providers (MTN, Airtel).

7. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are flagged for suspicious activity, fail identity verification, or are required by law enforcement. Remaining balances will be returned to the user where legally permitted.

8. Limitation of Liability

RDX is not liable for: losses due to cryptocurrency market volatility; losses from incorrect wallet addresses or networks entered by the user; service interruptions beyond our control; third-party service failures (mobile money providers, blockchain networks). Our total liability shall not exceed the value of fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Disputes shall be resolved through negotiation first, then arbitration in Kigali, Rwanda.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms with 14 days notice via email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
