What is RDX?
RDX (Rwanda Digital Exchange) is Rwanda's first cryptocurrency exchange platform. We allow you to buy, sell, and swap digital assets using Rwandan Francs via MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money.
Is RDX safe?
Yes. We use bank-grade security including HTTPS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, two-factor authentication (2FA), and a double-entry ledger system with row-level locking to protect your funds.
How do I deposit money?
Go to Deposit, select RWF, choose MTN or Airtel, enter your phone number and amount. A payment request is sent to your phone. Confirm with your MoMo PIN and your balance updates instantly.
How do I buy Bitcoin?
First deposit RWF via mobile money. Then go to Swap, select RWF → BTC, enter the amount, and confirm. Your BTC balance appears immediately.
What are the fees?
Mobile money deposits and withdrawals are free. Swaps have a 0.5% fee. Crypto withdrawals include a small network fee set by the blockchain (not RDX). All fees are shown before confirmation.
How long do deposits take?
Mobile money deposits are instant. Crypto deposits are credited after blockchain confirmation (typically 5-30 minutes depending on the network).
How long do withdrawals take?
Mobile money withdrawals are instant. Crypto withdrawals are processed automatically and typically complete within 5-30 minutes.
What cryptocurrencies do you support?
We support BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, BNB, TRX, LTC, DOGE, XRP, SOL, ADA, BCH, MATIC, SHIB, TON, and RWF (Rwandan Franc via mobile money).
Can I send crypto to another wallet?
Yes. Go to Withdraw, select your crypto, enter the destination wallet address and network, review the details, and confirm. The transaction is sent to the blockchain automatically.
What if I send to the wrong address?
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. RDX cannot recover funds sent to incorrect addresses. Always double-check the address and network before confirming.
How do I enable 2FA?
Go to Settings → Two-Factor Authentication → Enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Authy, then enter the 6-digit code to activate.
Is there a minimum deposit?
The minimum RWF deposit is 100 RWF. Minimum crypto deposits vary by coin and are shown on the deposit page.
